H.B. Martin Family Centre for Urban Education

The H.B. Martin Family Centre for Urban Education, adjacent to our Community Centre, opened in spring 2009 to support our expansion into citywide outreach. This beautifully renovated space houses YSM management and administrative offices, and versatile classroom space for in-depth staff training and community programs. The H.B. Martin Centre for Urban Education is a hub from which YSM can plan and implement our expansion. And having this location frees up space in the Community Centre to expand programs for children, youth and families.

Some of the events hosted at the H.B. Martin Centre for Urban Education in 2009 included;

• Confronting Compassion, A Woman in Leadership Conference
• A meeting of the Chinese Ministerial Evangelical Fellowship
• Pastor’s Day
• The first YSM Urban Education classes
• YSM Book Fair
• YSM Christmas Market.
