Outreach Programs

Many of those who attend Church at the Mission are involved in outreach to our community. Our goal is to be the salt and light Jesus proclaimed us to be–witnessing for Him and sharing His love throughout our entire neighborhood.

Rev. Jan Rothenburger, our Community Outreach Pastor, embodies our commitment to outreach ministry, serving at YSM Evergreen’s Centre for Street Youth, as a volunteer chaplain at GTA Prisons, and working with women on the streets of Toronto, in addition to her work on site at the church.

Jan also serves as a chaplain at Toronto-area prisons for women, where she meets with, counsels and prays with inmates. Whether talking to inmates or women living on the streets, Jan always shares her faith enthusiastically, encouraging those she meets to make healthy choices and take steps to build a better future. Jan has shared the love of Christ with a great many people on the margins of society.

The Agape/Alpha Supper–Tuesdays 4-8 p.m
You are invited to participate in a Love Feast! This is a time when we gather as a community to share in a meal, listen to the Word of God, participate in a learning and creative experience, and remember the love that Jesus Christ has for us.
