Women and Family Programs
Yonge Street Mission’s Community Centre offers holistic education programs and special events that help empower women to help themselves, their families and their communities. Our participants get leadership training, employment support, and special courses on parenting, nutrition and computers. Childcare is available during all activities and classes.
Our education program for children ages 1 ½ to 5 helps prepare them and their families for a smooth transition into the school system, and increases their potential for successful academic, social and spiritual integration.
