Food Services
Daily lunches are provided year-round in our Drop In. In addition, the Food Services Dinner Program provides hot and nutritious dinners to street-involved youth attending Evergreen. Every weekday, from October to May, between 80 to 100 youth enjoy a delicious meal, lovingly prepared by staff and volunteers.
If your small group of 5 to 6 people is interested in preparing and serving a dinner at Evergreen you are required to:
- Cover the cost of the meal: From $350 to $500
- Arrive at Evergreen at 3:30 pm to prepare and serve dinner at 5:00 pm
- Participate in clean-up duties, which usually end between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m.
Feel free to bring home-baked goodies, which our youth will love!
Your group will be given a tour of Evergreen and an overview of our programs and services. Many groups enjoy the experience so much that they come back several times a year to serve dinner.
