Venti Sized Hearts at Starbucks

Thank you to our good friends at Starbucks who chose Yonge Street Mission as their charity of choice! YSM joined Starbucks at their “Friends and Family” opening on Thursday, June 03, 2010 at the Ted Rogers School of Management, at 65 Dundas Street West.

In lieu of free coffee courtesy of Starbucks, hundreds of patrons gave a donation towards Yonge Street Mission.

As a token of gratitude YSM was pleased to host a regional meeting for Starbucks’ managers at our Centre for Urban Education at 306 Gerrard. In addition to inviting us to grand openings in the downtown core Starbucks has volunteered at our annual PATH Clothing Drive, hosted food and book drives, and has supported our annual Golf Tournament. Starbucks has also kindly donated a coffee station at various events including our annual Book Fair. You might say they have ‘Venti’ sized hearts!

Thank you Starbucks, your partnership with YSM continues to make our city a greater place to live!
