We are seeking a Marketing Specialist volunteer to support YSM’s People and Culture team
to enhance our employer brand. This is a position with flexible hours (ideally a minimum of 4
hours per week) that can also be remote, depending on the candidate’s availability.
Your Role:

Conduct research and provide recommendations about how best to position YSM’s employer brand

Use YSM-branded templates to create overall design outlines

Attend all volunteer orientation and training sessions as required

Review and tailor the content of recruiting brochure and careers webpage to appeal to YSM’s targeted workforce and recruiting partners

Qualifications
- 2-3 years’ demonstrated Marketing experience (preferred)
- Post-secondary education (diploma / degree) in Marketing
- Excellent communicator with strong technical writing skills and attention to detail
- Experience with graphic design software such as Adobe, Creative Suite or InDesign (preferred)
- Creative, capable and motivated self-starter
- Knowledge and understanding of YSM’s Mission, Values and Articles of Faith
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
