Heartfelt thanks to everyone who responded so generously to our requests for help in providing for 9,000 meals during the Thanksgiving season! Because you gave, hungry families could get groceries from our Food Bank, vulnerable youth enjoyed freshly prepared healthy meals at our Evergreen Centre, and our Bridges staff warmly welcomed 300 neighbours in need for a Thanksgiving community dinner. As community members formed a long line outside our doors, YSM staff distributed the dinner tickets many of you had sent us. And as our guests gathered to eat, they were surrounded by your encouraging messages of support.
Since you couldn’t be there in person, we wanted to share a brief 1-minute video of the event to say THANK YOU! The daily support we offer is only possible because of your caring partnership.
