In choosing to support YSM through legacy plans, you can also choose whether or not you wish to be recognized as a member of our Legacy Bridge Builders recognition society or remain anonymous. We honour all gifts with the level of confidentiality, anonymity or recognition requested by our donors.

There are four ways to make a difference by leaving a legacy with a planned gift:
Include YSM in your will
Specify a dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or the residual assets of your estate after any named bequests.
Donate investments or retirement funds
Designate YSM as a beneficiary of investment products, like RRSPs.
Designate a life insurance policy
Make The Yonge Street Mission the beneficiary of a policy so that its value will support YSM’s work after your passing.
Become a Legacy Bridge Builder
By sharing with us your intention to leave a legacy, you can become a founding member of YSM’s Legacy Bridge Builders (LBB) society, if you wish to be recognized as a valued YSM donor. Joining LBB will connect you with others who also invest in our work to make Toronto a city where people, and not poverty, thrive.
