Entrepreneurship Program learning & networking session
We recently welcomed past and present participants in our Entrepreneurship Program to a learning and networking session.
This program supports new business owners through business planning, coaching and microgrants.
As they met for a panel discussion and lunch, participants talked about how they benefited from the program’s support in creating a business plan, learning to manage finances, and through one-on-one coaching and mentoring.
Multiple participants expressed appreciation for how the coaching they received helped them think more strategically about the long-term impact and direction for their businesses, rather than getting too focused on immediate gains. As one participant shared, the program’s coaching “helped me shift my mindset, that if my nonprofit was built properly, it could be not only beneficial but create a movement that changes lives. It could impact systems and not just situations.”
