A robust human transformation framework to help understand needs and guide meaningful, measurable change.
TIMES™ — Transformation Integrated Measurement and Evaluation System — is Yonge Street Mission’s proprietary impact measurement tool. Developed in-house and grounded in social research, TIMES™ helps us monitor and understand how individuals progress across multiple domains of well-being as they journey out of poverty.
What TIMES™ Does
TIMES™ goes beyond basic program metrics. It provides a holistic, person-centered view of an individual’s growth and well-being over time, empowering front-line workers and case managers to:
- Track individual and collective progress
- Identify ‘wins’ and areas for further progress
- Improve service design and delivery
- Meaningfully report outcomes to founders and stakeholders
- Bolster qualitative stories with quantitative data
- Share learnings across the sector
TIMES™ is currently used with YSM participants to assess outcomes in areas such as housing stability, education, employment, emotional and physical well-being, system navigation, and more.
Why It Matters
Too often, social impact is measured by outputs — meals served, sessions attended, or jobs secured — rather than real transformation in someone’s life. TIMES™ enables us to understand what true change looks like over time and how to better support individuals in achieving long-term stability and success.
