Join us for an exclusive access, donor only webinar to hear how we will build and equip a newly expanded purpose-built health centre at our Evergreen Centre for Street-Involved Youth, to improve our health care capacity to more than 4x its current size!
This $3.1M priority project will increase our range of services for youth, provide greater access to vital mental health services, reduce treatment wait times, extend our hours of operation and ensure current, up to date medical equipment needed to provide comprehensive care to vulnerable youth.

Dr. Kathleen Schenk, Dentist
Dr. Schenk is a general dentist who did her training at the University of Toronto, graduating in 1983. After a year of residency at Toronto Western Hospital, she has been in private practice in Toronto. Over the course of her career she has come to know firsthand the difficulty people have accessing dental treatment.
Her passion is patient education, helping to prevent oral disease so that treatment is minimized. This has also carried through to her interaction with street-involved youth at YSM’s Evergreen Centre where she has been a volunteer dentist for 15 years.
June Zhang, RN MN-NP
Part of the YSM staff family since 2011, June is the Evergreen Health Centre Manager, a position she’s held since 2015. She is trained as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner and received her Nursing degree from the University of Toronto.
Her role focuses on engaging with staff, volunteers and students as well as seeing patients for medical care.
