If you are a parent, our nursery cares for children while you attend programs or are accessing services at Evergreen. We also offer parenting workshops and a nursery food bank stocking essentials such as formula, diapers and other infant and child necessities.
Our trained counsellors support community members who are dealing with issues such as abuse, addictions, anxiety and eating disorders, as well as traumatizing or negative experiences and other painful psychological wounds.
We offer youth employment counselling, skills and a safe space to prepare for employment. Our innovative approach to arranging work placements and developing paid job-readiness programs – including a partnership with Starbucks – help many of our community members find stable employment within two years.
If you haven’t finished high school, we support your efforts to get a GED, the equivalent of a high school diploma. We also work to develop financial literacy skills to help you stay on track and achieve employment certifications and/or a post-secondary education. Let’s talk about your plans and next steps.
