YSM Employment Services is designed to equip job seekers with job readiness skills in order to prepare for work. Job ready clients are then matched with work opportunities and coached to retain employment.

- Information about jobs, training, programs and resources. - Access to computers, printers, telephones - Provides guidance for resume/cover letter writing, job search, and applying to jobs online - If an individual needs further support, an appointment will be scheduled for a date and time outside of the regular Drop-In hours to offer 1:1 attention, and potential program enrollment |

- Paid employment training and placement with Paragon Security - Successful graduates secure permanent jobs with Paragon Security - Accessed through Employment Services or Youth Job Connection |

- Career development program for the part-time employed - Supporting those with proof as Canadian citizens, permanent residents or convention refugees/protected persons - Up to 40 hours paid training - 6 months support in job coaching, mentorship, upskilling, and certification training to further career goals - Financial supports available: food, clothing, transportation, work-related tools and equipment, and more - Housing subsidy available on case by case basis |
