Possibility Partners

Possibility Partners is a committed community of donors who know real and lasting change for our struggling neighbours requires ongoing support. As a Partner, you are passionate about helping our community members, and believe in people so they might believe in themselves. Your monthly giving helps our city’s most vulnerable see new possibilities for their lives, while providing the dedicated support they need to achieve their goals and dreams.

As a member of Possibility Partners, you’ll receive regular updates from YSM about how your care and commitment helps change the lives of street-involved youth, families in need and adults experiencing poverty.

Thank you joining our community of monthly supporters to provide #HopeUnlimited

How your support helps. . .

Change Lives

By giving monthly, you’re helping transform community members’ lives from needing immediate relief to having a stable life. For each of the populations we serve, your monthly donation supports barrier-free access to critical food services and supplies, as well as holistic support such as employment and housing services, and opportunities for healing through mental health counselling and mentorship.

Bridges Centre for Adults – Our vision is to support adults in overcoming poverty, by turning their personal goals into reality. We offer holistic care, courses, and community to improve well-being for adults aged 18-60. Learn more about our Bridges Program and Services.

Evergreen Centre – An inclusive, comprehensive centre for street-involved youth in our city. Our wide range of services and programs are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of youth aged 16 to 24. Learn more about our Evergreen Centre Programs and Services.

Cornerstone Family Services – We believe all families are unique. At Cornerstone, we work strategically to instill communication and problem-solving skills and life-long learning among the whole family, to strengthen them as a unit. Build Communities

YSM provides black community services in Toronto Regent Park

Through your committed gifts, you’re also supporting our Community Development program. We collaborate with and support residents, community agencies and grass-roots groups to strengthen Toronto’s Neighbourhood Improvement Areas (NIAs) and specifically build resident-led solutions in Regent Park and York South-Weston.

Currently, there are over a dozen community led-initiatives supported by YSM, as well as other partnerships and collaborative projects, such as Access to Recreation, a community group advocating to ensure all families in Regent Park have equitable access to recreation spaces.

Transform Toronto

Helping families in need and adults experiencing chronic poverty by making meals as a group volunteer in Toronto

We know to fully realize our vision of ending chronic poverty in Toronto in one generation, we must identify key systemic barriers and work with community, government and other stakeholders to affect positive change. To do this, we’re working to nurture community ownership and engagement, inform policy, ensure city-wide best practices, and continuously listen and respond.

We believe when we combine our collective resources and wisdom, together we can reach our goal of ending chronic poverty in a generation. If you’re interested in becoming more involved with YSM and to help #TransformTorontoTogether, there are many ways to do so:

  • Participate one of our fundraising events (virtually or safely in-person)
  • Organize a clothing drive
  • Volunteer with us
  • Donate gift cards, toiletries, and essential supplies
